“The Smurfs”, those little blue guys – and one girl, (just how did they procreate, especially since we never saw Smurfette pregnant?), will take to the big screen in “The Smurfs Movie,” a 3D computer animated feature film, the first of a planned “Smurfs Movie” trilogy. Over 250 original “The Smurfs” episodes aired during the life of the show.
If you’re worried about how director Raja Gosnell is going to handle a gaggle of Smurfs, well, he, (yes, Raja is a he), proved himself a couple of years back with those nasty little Chihuaha beasts, and the movie – which grossed over $100 million in the United States alone.
