Ten years have passed, and Sidney Prescott, who has put herself back together thanks in part to her writing, is visited by the Ghostface Killer.
Neve Campbell returns for the fourth in the Scream movie franchise. Wild About Movies learned in June 2009 – EXCLUSIVELY – that she was reprising her role in Scream 4 along with Courtney Cox and her estranged husband David Arquette. Kevin Williamson wrote the screenplay. Wes Craven directed.
Scream 4 begins another trilogy in the film franchise, with a total of 6 “Scream” movies planned.
Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell), now the author of a self-help book, returns home to Woodsboro on the last stop of her book tour. There she reconnects with Sheriff Dewey (David Arquette) and Gale (Courteney Cox), who are now married, as well as her cousin Jill (Emma Roberts) and her Aunt Kate (Mary McDonnell). Unfortunately Sidney’s appearance also brings about the return of Ghostface, putting Sidney, Gale, and Dewey, along with Jill, her friends, and the whole town of Woodsboro in danger.
