Two sets of parents decide to have a cordial meeting after their sons are involved in a schoolyard brawl.

Based on the Tony Award-winning drama God Of Carnage, the story is set in contemporary Brooklyn, New York. The movie Carnage tells the story of two pairs of parents – one of whose child has hurt the other at a public park, who meet to discuss the matter in a civilized manner. However, as the evening goes on, the parents become increasingly childish, resulting in the evening devolving into chaos.

The Movie facts: Lesbian in real life, Jodie Foster, (two-time Oscar winner, The Accused, The Silence Of The Lambs), stars as one of the parents. Oscar winners Kate Winslet, Christoph Waltz and Oscar nominee John C. Reilly, costar.

Oscar winning director Roman Polanski (The Pianist, Rosemary’s Baby), who is banned from entering the United States, under penalty of arrest, for raping a thirteen year old girl in the 1970s, brings the tale to the big screen.
