Roadside Attractions, the film’s distributor, is pegging the movie this way: Featuring a star-making performance by Jennifer Lawrence, Winter’s Bone is sure to be one of the most critically acclaimed films of the year.

Jennifer Lawrence earned her first Best Actress Oscar nomination for her role in Winter’s Bone.
