Repeaters

Repeaters Release Date: April 18, 2008

The movie “Repeaters” follows three rehab patients who are given a one-day pass to make amends with their families. Kyle (Dustin Milligan) tries to reconnect with his sister, Sonia (Amanda Crew) avoids her ailing dad, who subsequently passes away, and Weeks (Richard de Klerk) sets off to see his violent father in prison. It’s a terrible day for each of them, and just like Bill Murray in Groundhog Day, they cannot find their way out. They wake up to the same day, over and over again. Instead of comic hijinks, however, it leads them to face the dangerous and scary possibility of a life without consequence. A gritty mind-bending thriller about three twenty-somethings who find themselves in an impossible time labyrinth, where each day they awaken to the same terrifying day as the preceding one. The movie made its world premiere at the 2010 Toronto Film Festival.
