“Hounddog” was s hot in North Carolina and takes place in the 1950s American South. “Hounddog” stars Fanning as Lewellen, “a troubled 12-year-old girl who finds solace from an abusive life through blues music. This music is delicately woven throughout the film to create a colorful tapestry of a melancholy life that finds release and healing through the music of Elvis Presley, whose character appears in the movie, albeit briefly, and the singing of the blues.”

Furthermore, the compnay’s CEO, Dean Hamilton-Bornstein said, “We believe that ‘Hounddog’ will be one of the top, independent films at theaters this summer. It is a powerful, coming-of-age drama that deals with serious issues that should resonate with audiences. Dakota Fanning delivers an Oscar-worthy performance and we expect to see a lot of media attention.”
