"The Escapist" - In Theaters October 2008

"The Escapist" - "The Escapist" stars Brian Cox who play a man spending the rest of his life in prison.

When a letter informs him that his daughter is critically ill, he decides he must see her before she dies and concocts an ingenius escape plan. He assembles a motley crew of unlikely companions each of whom possesses a special and necessary skill that will help with his far-fetched scheme.

Doesn't "The Escapist" sound like a big screen, two hour version of Fox's hit, but endless television series "Prison Break?"

Juxtaposing the intricate preparations for the break-out, with the actual escape itself, the movie "The Escapist" becomes an intense drama about everyman's need to free himself from confinement and redeem himself from past transgressions.

"The Escapist" premiered at the Sundance Film Festival to primarily positive movie reviews!
