"Pineapple Express" - BEHIND THE SCENES

"The Pineapple Express" - "The Pineapple Express" is produced by Judd Apatow (director of "Knocked Up"), on their way to becoming self-actualized adults, a duo of delinquent dudes find themselves stymied by unfortunate habits. But when stuck-in-neutral process server Dale Denton (Seth Rogen) inadvertently witnesses a drug-related murder, he and his bug Saul (an ugly James Franco) find that sometimes the motivation you need to make something of your life is a mob of fugitives hunting you down. The best thing about "Pineapple Express" is: the Huey Lewis song "Pineapple Express," which, if there is any justice, will receive a 2009 Oscar nomination for Best Original Song - if not just for nostalgia sake.
