“The Good Night,” a comedy that takes place in NYC, features Martin Freeman (no relation to the black Oscar winning actor Morgan Freeman, rather, the white, British star of and “Shaun of the Dead”) as a washed-up pop star who writes ad jingles and suffers a midlife crisis. Penelope Cruz plays the object of his romantic interests, and Danny DeVito plays a dream doctor who tries to get the troubled man back on track. Keep in mind Oscar winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow, helps her brother out, Jake Paltrow, by starring in his first feature film – which, incidentally, is getting rave reviews at Film Festivals around the world. Of course, we report, and you decide.
