"City Of Ember" - BEHIND THE SCENES

"City Of Ember" - For generations, the people of the "City Of Ember" have flourished in an amazing world of glittering lights. But the "City Of Ember's" once powerful generator is failing... and the great lamps that illuminate the city for twelve hours each day - there is no sun, nor moon - are starting to flicker. Now, two teenagers in a race against time, must search Ember for clues that will unlock the ancient mystery of the city's existence, and help the citizens escape before the lights go out forever. But did you know that the young Irish actress Saoirse Ronan was nominated for a Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her role in last year's "Atonement" - and will undoubtedly earn a second Oscar nomination for Best Actress, for her role in Peter Jackson's 2009 big screen movie release, "The Lovely Bones?"
