Five of the Top Six movies at the movie box office during the Memorial Day 2009 Weekend were sequels. "Night At The Museum 2" took the top spot, with a four day, whopping $70 million gross. The Christian Bale release, "Terminator 4," scored $67 million, but that includes a five day gross. ("Terminator 4" was released on Thursday). "Star Trek 11" claimed the #3 notch with nearly $30 million during the four day weekend. And last week's #1 movie, "Angels & Demons," the sequel to "The DaVinci Code," dropped to #4. Hugh Jackman's "Wolverine," part of the "X-Men" movie franchise," stole the #6 spot and has a four week gross of nearly $170 million.

The first big screen release of 2009 to climb past the $200 million is going to be "Star Trek," later this week. The film has amassed over $190 million in only three weeks of release.
