"Gran Torino" #1
at www.wildaboutmovies.com

Gran Torino

Wild About Movies has chosen "Gran Torino" as the Best Movie of 2008, (tied with Clint Eastwood's other movie released in 2008, "The Changeling"), and expects "Gran Torino" to earn a plethora of "2009 Oscar Nominations."

And, as Wild About Movies expected - and predicted - "Gran Torino" cleaned up at the movie box office this weekend, its first in wide release.

It's first weekend in wide release, "Gran Torino" raced past all of the new competition, grabbing nearly $30 million.
