Madea Goes To Jail

Heller, everybody!!!!

More people visited "Madea In Jail," than cared to attend a 3D 'experience' "The Jonas Brothers Movie Concert," this weekend at the movie box office.

Disney's manufacturing machine seems to be waning. Praise The Lord! "The Jonas Brothers," which there is nothing special about, found themselves well below "Madea" this weekend, their first, at the movie box office.

Last week's #1 movie, the record breaking "Madea Goes To Jail," held on to its top spot at the movie box office, its second weekend in movie theaters, spanking the Jo Bros on the way, with $16.5 million.

"The Jonas Brothers Movie" - once expected by WAM to take in over $35 million its first weekend in 3D movie theaters, opened with only $12.7 million - about one third of what all movie box office analysts predicted - and had to settle for practically tying last week's Best Picture Oscar winner, "Slumdog Millionaire," for the #2 spot at the movie box office. "Slumdog" grabbed $12.2 million.

"Street Fighter," the only other new wide release in theaters, also bombed, with about $5.7 million.
