"Resident Evil 3" #1 Movie of Weekend

Resident Evil 3 Movie PosterThis past weekend saw three new movies in wide release: Mila Jovovich in "Resident Evil 3." Dane Cook and Jessica Alba in "Good Luck Chuck," and Amanda Bynes in "Sydney White." All three are dreadful movies, the best being "Sydney White," which gets a D from Wild About Movies. Also, in limited release, Brad Pitt as Jesse James, opposite Ben's little brother, Casey Affleck, in "The Assassination of Jesse James By The Coward Robert Ford," "The Jane Austen Book Club," "Randy And The Mob," "The Last Winter" and "Sea of Dreams," along with a 2008 Oscar candidate, "Into The Wild," directed by Sean Penn, based on the NY Times Best Selling non-fiction novel. Also, "Transfomers The Movie" in IMAX. Go Behind The Scenes of all of this week's new releases and watch the trailers. In its first weekend in theaters, "Resident Evil 3" soaked up $24 million at the box office, while Dane Cook and Jessica Alba, in "Good Luck Chuck" grabbed $14 million. Amanda Bynes managed only $5 million in "Sydney White."
