Oscar winning actor Russell Crowe (Gladiator) directs The Water Diviner.

It is reminiscent of Oscar winning Best Pictures Out Of Africa and Dances With Wolves, thanks in large part to its Oscar winning cinematographer (he shot all three Lord Of The Rings movies).

The Water Diviner tells the story of an Australian man who travels to Turkey after the Battle of Gallipoli to try and locate his three missing and dead sons.

Released in Australia on December 26, 2014, where it was filmed, The Water Diviner earned over $11 million.
