Update May 2015 – The movie Grace Of Monaco arrives directly on Lifetime Television on May 25, 2015 and then on Netflix – beginning June 8, 2015, bypassing movie theaters altogether.
The movie Grace Of Monaco, starring Nicole Kidman in the title role, tells the story of former Hollywood star Grace Kelly’s crisis of marriage and identity, during a political dispute between Monaco’s Prince Rainier III and France’s Charles De Gaulle, and a looming French invasion of Monaco in the early 1960s.
Grace Of Monaco opened the 2014 Cannes Film Festival. And received absolutely dreadful movie reviews. Originally scheduled for release in 2014, the film was dumped by the studio, proving that Nicole Kidman’s star has fallen, and crashed.
