22 Jump Street is the sequel to the 2012 movie 21 Jump Street. The movie 21 Jump Street was based on the 1987 television series of the same name.

Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill are reprising their roles as Jump Street division partners Jenko and Schmidt, and Ice Cube is be back as Captain Dickson. Amber Stevens (Greek) stars as Jonah Hill’s love interest, (who the F could look at him and fall in love, we ask?), while Workaholics actress Jillian Bell plasy Stevens’s do-gooder roommate. Wyatt Russell (son of Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell) also stars, and actually turned down a role in the final two The Hunger Games movies, Mockingjay, to appear in 22 Jump Street.

Directors of the original movie – Phil Lord and Chris Miller – return for 22 Jump Street. (If you’re Wild About Movies, you’ll know that Phil Lord and Chris Miller directed the first Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs and the upcoming The Lego Movie, both animated movies.

21 Jump Street earned $138,447,667 at the U.S. movie box office during its theatrical release in 2012.
