In the movie Gravity, astronauts – Oscar winners George Clooney and Sandra Bullock – attempt to return to earth after debris crashes into their space shuttle, leaving them drifting alone in space.
One of the great things going for the movie Gravity… its director, Alfonso Cuaron.
Alfonso Cuaron directed the best of the Harry Potter films, Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban. And also directed the wonderful Oscar nominated Y Tu Mama Tambian.
Gravity made its debut at both the Venice and Telluride Film Festivals in August 2013 – to gushingly postive reviews. Both of the stars of Gravity received rave reviews, as well as its director, who also happens to be the screenwriter.
There is talk of a Best Picture, Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Supporting Actor (George Clooney) and Best Actress (Sandra Bullock) Oscar campaign for the movie. That is how good it is.
