"High School Musical 3" #1

HSM3

Last week tween heartthrob Zac Efron sang and swished his way to #1 at the movie box office in "High School Musical 3." And he did it again this weekend. The Chace Crawford PG-13 rated horror movie "The Haunting Of Molly Hartley," though not a megahit, is distributor Freestyle Releasing's best opening ever, and will become the fledgling studio's highest grossing movie to date. "Zack & Miri Make A Porno" grabbed #2 at the movie box office with just over $10 million. However, Clint Eastwood's "Changeling," starring Angelina Jolie, in its first week in wide release - 1800 theaters - grabbed the #1 spot at the movie box office in the per screen basis category, grabbing over $9 million. "Changeling" is in 1000 fewer theaters than "Zack & Miri." It looks like Angelina Jolie is a shoo in for a Best Actress Oscar nomination.
