"Hellboy 2" - #1
at www.wildaboutmovies.com

Hellboy 2

"Hellboy 2" entered thd movie marketplace at #1, coming in with $35 million its first weekend in theaters. The 3D family extravaganza "Journey To The Center Of The Earth," which received mostly dreadful reviews from movie critics the nation over, settled for the #3 spot, with barely $20 million. Nobody wanted to "Meet Dave," on the other hand. The Eddie Murphy flick bombed, grabbing just over $5 million for the weekend, putting this Eddie Murphy movie on par with his last sci-fi disaster, "Pluto Nash." All while Disney's "Walle" and last week's #1 movie, "Hancock," starring Will Smith, continued to pull in sold-out crowds in many theaters throughout the nation. "Hancock" came in at #2, just behind "Hellboy 2," with $33 million. All that will change next weekend, however, when the late Heath Ledger's "The Dark Knight" - (this year's best movie, to date) - screams into theaters and on IMAX, nationwide. "The Dark Knight" just may become the highest grossing movie of 2008, as many of you will pay to see it twice at movie theaters; it is that good.
