Jennifer Aniston's "Marley & Me" was the #1 movie at the movie box office Christmas weekend, grabbing $51.7 million its first four days in movie theaters.
Jennifer Aniston's ex, Brad Pitt, stole the #2 spot at the movie box office with just over $39 million in "The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button."
Adam Sandler - AND DISNEY - seem to be losing their steam. "Bedtime Stories" is Disney's second (somewhat) big screen bomb in a row - after Thanksgiving's "Bolt." The Adam Sandler movie "Bedtime Stories" grabbed only $38 million its first four days in theaters, beating Tom Cruise in "Valkyrie," which scored #4 at the movie box office with $30 million during its first four days in movie theaters.
NOTE - "Marley & Me," "Benjamin Button" and "Bedtime Stories," were the #1, #2 and #3 Best Ever Christmas Day Openings. New in limited release this week; Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslett team up again in "Revolutionary Road." In only three movie theaters around the nation, the film grossed $64,000 per location.
